Graphic Stories 2025 | Πάφος, 18-20 Ιουλίου

Η Πάφος φιλοξενεί φέτος το 11ο Graphic Stories, ένα τριήμερο αφιερωμένο στη δημιουργικότητα, την καινοτομία και την πολιτιστική εξωστρέφεια, από τις 18 έως τις 20 Ιουλίου 2025. 

 

Ο διεθνής θεσμός, που εδώ και 11 χρόνια αναδεικνύει την οπτική επικοινωνία, τον κοινωνικό σχεδιασμό και τη δημιουργική σκέψη, επιστρέφει με ένα εμπλουτισμένο πρόγραμμα διαλέξεων, εργαστηρίων και εκθέσεων. 

 

Η φετινή διοργάνωση πραγματοποιείται με την υποστήριξη του Δήμου Πάφου και σε συνδιοργάνωση με το Πετρίδειο Ίδρυμα, ενισχύοντας τη δημιουργική συνεργασία πολιτιστικών φορέων και θεσμών της Πάφου.

Το Πετρίδειο Ίδρυμα είναι ένας φιλανθρωπικός οργανισμός με ενεργή παρουσία στους τομείς του αθλητισμού, της παιδείας και του πολιτισμού στην Πάφο, υποστηρίζοντας δράσεις με κοινωνικό και πολιτιστικό αποτύπωμα.

Η επίσημη έναρξη θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 18 Ιουλίου, στις 16:00, στον χώρο του Αττικόν στην Πάφο.

Την εκδήλωση θα προλογίσουν:

• ο κ. Γιώργος Πίτρος, Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Πολιτισμού και Παιδείας του Δήμου Πάφου

• ο κ. Παντελής Ευαγγέλου, μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Πετριδείου Ιδρύματος, εκπροσωπώντας τον συνδιοργανωτή της φετινής διοργάνωσης

• η κα Χριστίνα Παπαμιλτιάδου, Υπεύθυνη Δημοσίων Σχέσεων στον Κυπριακό Σύνδεσμο Πληροφορικής (Cyprus Computer Society – CCS) και στο ICDL Cyprus, εκπροσωπώντας τον διαχρονικό υποστηρικτή του θεσμού, τον Cyprus Computer Society

Διεθνείς Ομιλητές & Εμπνευσμένες Διαλέξεις

Το κοινό θα έχει την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσει εννέα διαλέξεις από διακεκριμένους επαγγελματίες και ακαδημαϊκούς:
Δρ. Σάββας Χατζηχριστοφής, Dr. Mike Hajimichael, Χάρης Τσέβης, Onur Yazicigil, Μπάμπης Σχοινάς, Κωνσταντίνος Πισσούριος, Adam Reeves και Ειρήνη Γκόνου.

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των διαλέξεων, θα προβληθεί το ντοκιμαντέρ «Graphic Stories: Destination», μια οπτική διαδρομή στην ιστορία και τη φιλοσοφία του θεσμού. Όλες οι διαλέξεις και η προβολή θα μεταδοθούν και διαδικτυακά μέσω live streaming.

Διεθνής Έκθεση Αφισών «TREE & ME» | Graphic Stories 2025 x Calanca Biennale

Στο επίκεντρο του φετινού φεστιβάλ βρίσκεται η διεθνής έκθεση αφισών και διαδραστικής εγκατάστασης TREE & ME, σε συνεργασία με την Calanca Biennale (Ελβετία). Η έκθεση εξερευνά τη διαχρονική σχέση του ανθρώπου με το δέντρο ως σύμβολο ζωής, ανάπτυξης και αλληλεγγύης, με συμμετοχή 60 δημιουργών από 23 χώρες.

Εγκαίνια Έκθεσης

Σάββατο 19 Ιουλίου 2025, ώρα 19:00, στη Gallery Εν Πλω, Πάφος.
Τα εγκαίνια θα τελέσει ο Αξιότιμος Δήμαρχος Πάφου κ. Φαίδωνας Φαίδωνος.
Διάρκεια Έκθεσης: 19 Ιουλίου – 4 Αυγούστου 2025 | Είσοδος Ελεύθερη.

Το βράδυ του Σαββάτου θα ακολουθήσει καλλιτεχνικό πάρτι με reggae επιλογές από τον Haji Mike, συνδυάζοντας μουσική, ποίηση και εικαστική έκφραση. 

Εξειδικευμένα Εργαστήρια: Εκπαίδευση & Έμπνευση για Δημιουργικούς Επαγγελματίες

Το διήμερο (19-20 Ιουλίου) περιλαμβάνει σειρά πρακτικών εργαστηρίων που καλύπτουν ποικίλες όψεις του design, της τεχνολογίας και της προσωπικής ανάπτυξης:

·       Business for Creatives με τον Μπάμπη Σχοινά

·       Καλλιγραφία με την Ειρήνη Γκόνου

·       Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη & Design με τον Χάρη Τσέβη

·       Comic Illustration με τον Κωνσταντίνο Πισσούριο

·       Βιωματικό εργαστήριο ενδυνάμωσης μέσω τέχνης με την Αγγελική Αθανασιάδη

·       Παιδικό εργαστήριο με τη Στέλλα Παλούγκου

11th International Conference & Festival on Visual Communication, Graphic Stories

Graphic Stories 2025 | Pafos, 18-20 July

This year, Pafos will host the 11th edition of Graphic Stories, a three-day event dedicated to creativity, innovation, and cultural outreach, from the 18th to the 20th of July 2025.

For 11 years, this international institution has been highlighting visual communication, social design, and creative thinking. The event returns with an enriched program of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions.

This year’s event is held with the support of the Municipality of Pafos and is co-organized with the Petrides Foundation, reinforcing the creative collaboration between cultural institutions and organizations in the city.

The Petrideion Foundation is a charitable organization with an active presence in the fields of sports, education, and culture in Pafos, supporting actions with social and cultural impact.

The official opening will take place on Friday, July 18, at 16:00, at Attikon venue in Pafos.

Opening remarks will be delivered by:

• Mr. Giorgos Pitros, President of the Committee for Culture and Education of the Municipality of Pafos
• Mr. Pantelis Evangelou, Member of the Board of Directors of the Petrides Foundation, representing this year’s co-organizer
• Ms. Christina Papamiltiaou, Public Relations Officer at the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and ICDL Cyprus, representing the long-standing supporter of the institution, the Cyprus Computer Society

International Speakers & Inspiring Lectures

Attendees will have the opportunity to follow nine inspiring lectures by distinguished professionals and academics:
Dr. Savvas Chatzichristofis, Dr. Mike Hajimichael, Charis Tsevis, Onur Yazicigil, Babis Schoinas, Constantinos Pissourios, Adam Reeves, and Irene Gonou.

Following the lectures, the documentary "Graphic Stories: Destination" will be screened, offering a visual journey through the history and philosophy of the institution. All lectures and the documentary screening will also be available online via live streaming.

International Poster Exhibition “TREE & ME” | Graphic Stories 2025 x Calanca Biennale

At the heart of this year’s festival is the international poster and interactive installation exhibition "TREE & ME", in collaboration with the Calanca Biennale (Switzerland). The exhibition explores the timeless relationship between humans and trees as symbols of life, growth, and solidarity, featuring 60 designers from 23 countries.

Exhibition Opening

Saturday, 19 July 2025, at 19:00, at En Plo Gallery, Pafos.
The opening ceremony will be officiated by the Honorable Mayor of Pafos, Mr. Phedon Phedonos.

Exhibition Duration: 19 July – 4 August 2025 | Free Entrance

On Saturday evening, an artistic party will follow, featuring reggae selections by Haji Mike, blending music, poetry, and visual art.

Specialized Workshops: Education & Inspiration for Creative Professionals

During the two days (19-20 July), a series of hands-on workshops will cover various aspects of design, technology, and personal development:
