[EN] Myths, according to Sigmund Freud, are dreams that steam from the unconscious, while for James Frazer and Bronislaw Malinowski they constitute the prescientific effort of early human cultures to interpret their natural environment. Either with a psychoanalytic mood or from the perspective of social anthropology, their existence in any culture -and particularly in ancient Greek, where reason and myth always had a subtle organic bond with the reflection process- highlights the value and usefulness, at least, of their study.
