Ο ΜΚΟ Graphic Stories Cyprus ανακοινώνει με υπερηφάνεια τη συμμετοχή του στο Παγκόσμιο Συνέδριο Βιομηχανικού Σχεδιασμού 2024 (WIDC2024), το οποίο θα διεξαχθεί από τις 20 έως τις 25 Σεπτεμβρίου στο Yantai της Κίνας, εκπροσωπώντας την Κύπρο και την Ελλάδα στον τομέα του design και της τεχνολογίας. Το WIDC2024 είναι ένα διεθνές συνέδριο που φέρνει κοντά σχεδιαστές από όλο τον κόσμο, προσφέροντας μια πλατφόρμα για συζητήσεις, ανταλλαγές ιδεών και νέες συνεργασίες στον τομέα του βιομηχανικού σχεδιασμού.

Η Συμμετοχή του Graphic Stories
Ο ΜΚΟ Graphic Stories Cyprus θα εκπροσωπηθεί από την ιδρύτρια και καλλιτεχνική διευθύντρια του οργανισμού Αγγελική Αθανασιάδη, σχεδιάστρια οπτικής επικοινωνίας, και τον συνδημιουργό και γενικό συντονιστή του οργανισμού Graphic Stories και πρόεδρο τεχνικής επιτροπής διαγωνισμών ρομποτικής του Cyprus Computer Society, Μίλτο Καρρά, καθηγητή Φυσικής και Ρομποτικής. Και οι δύο έχουν διεθνείς συμμετοχές και βραβεύσεις στον χώρο του σχεδιασμού και της τεχνολογίας. Στις ομιλίες τους θα παρουσιάσουν θέματα όπως ο κοινωνικός σχεδιασμός, η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη και η ρομποτική, δίνοντας έμφαση στο πώς αυτές οι τεχνολογίες θα επηρεάσουν τον δημιουργικό και εκπαιδευτικό τομέα τα επόμενα χρόνια.
Διεθνείς Συνεργασίες και Βραβεία
Το Graphic Stories Cyprus έχει αναγνωριστεί ως ένα από τα κορυφαία φεστιβάλ στην Ευρώπη. Η Ένωση Ευρωπαϊκών Φεστιβάλ (European Festivals Association) απένειμε το σήμα ποιότητας EFFE Label για την περίοδο 2019-2023. Participation of Graphic Stories
The NGO Graphic Stories Cyprus will be represented by the founder and artistic director of the organization, Aggeliki Athanasiadi, a visual communication designer, and the co-creator and general coordinator of the organization, Graphic Stories, and president of the technical committee of the robotics competition of Cyprus Computer Society, Miltiades Karras, a professor of Physics and Robotics. Both have international experience and accolades in the fields of design and technology. In their talks, they will present topics such as social design, artificial intelligence, and robotics, focusing on how these technologies will influence the creative and educational sectors in the coming years.
International Collaborations and Awards
Graphic Stories Cyprus has been recognized as one of the top festivals in Europe. The European Festivals Association (EFA) awarded it the EFFE Label for the period 2019-2023. In 2021, the conference was honored with the Badge of Invention for its innovation and ingenuity and received the special Remarkable Arts Festival label, ranking it among the top European Arts and Culture Festivals.
